Design Fabrique is a creative design studio of Ernest Mucenieks. That's me. I am a passionate fan of design, typography, modern communications and other tools of my craft. I am currently the creative director and leading designer of the studio, where I lead a small team and control the continuously growing list of our services. This site is a collection of works - a symbiosis of creative solutions and cost-effective results that I offer to my clients.
Ernest Mucenieks is engaged in design for over ten years. After the graduation from the Latvian Academy of Arts, Ernest continued his studies in America, Humboldt State University, CA. Then he worked as art director at agencies: Bates, Balta Communications (Publicis Group), Garage 4x4 (Young & Rubicam). As a freelance designer, he worked with many advertising agencies, illustrated books, developed models for the production of easels, created animations and video installations, and participated in the creation of advertising clips. In 2008, he founded an advertising agency Emergency, with which the Grand Prix and gold medal was obtained at the festival Golden Hammer in the category of social advertising. It was decided in 2010 to leave advertising to focus more on design and creative solutions; a small design studio was founded for that purpose - Design Fabrique.
Design plays a major role in shaping the visual image of message. Intelligible and clear visualization of the image adds emotions, attracts and retains an interest. Awkward, incomplete, non-professional design in most cases does not allow the message to find its audience. In a world where a person is exposed to a huge amount of information attacking him from all sides, he has already learned to filter the useless messages. And while the design must appeal to our sense of aesthetics, it should not interfere with the clear and understandable formulation of the goal of message. The design should simplify and facilitate our everyday life, while enriching it with new and fresh visual images.
